Wikipedia Deletes Wikipedians by gender

Logging on to WP, I was checking my watchlist for any changes related to Wikimedia's IRS form 990, when I saw there that the category "Wikipedians by gender" has been deleted. I must have been notified of this because I have the related userbox on my user page. I want to assure everybody, that just because the category has been deleted, that doesn't mean that Wikipedians are now genderless. It's just like if someone deleted Ken Lay's entry, he would still exist, just not on Wikipedia, oh wait, bad example.
Let me try explaining it another way,
the Map is not the Terrain. When the map ceases to exist, the terrain can still exist. Ayn Rand wrote that "A is A". In this case A is not B. A is gone and B is still here. Everything is normal. You
have not been deleted. Please return to editing.
